Ok. Time for something new…ish.

Around 2 ½ years ago, Dave & Jane in California asked us to create a ring with skeletal hands grasping the skull.
We had been contemplating this in a roundabout kinda way over the years so their enquiry pushed us along. At the time we featured the original on our Customized page, and regular visitors soon picked up on the new face in town, so it quickly became obvious the combination had potential. After many months of carving and re-carving we settled on a final design, and after solving the final assembly processes we were good to go. “Let’s get through Christmas first” he said.

Enter the Deathgrip.

To date most have been based on the Classic, but ½ skull Yorick will work equally well. At this stage our new products page features the Deathgrip based only on the Classic, so just email us if you prefer the ½ skull look and we’ll send you a modified PayPal Order Form. Both are priced at $570 US price in either a highly polished, textured Industrial or Shadow finish. We feel the Industrial finish brings out the 3D qualities to their best advantage, but that’s just personal opinion.

It’s only fitting that Deathgrip be shipped in a coffin so this is complimentary, and just let us know if you’d like a message from the dark side etched into the lid.

We have also created several with gemstone set eyes, and this adds around $250 US in gems such as Onyx, Garnet, Amethyst, Topaz, Jade, Citrine, Lapis Lazuli etc. Stones are whisper-set from behind the skull to avoid any compromise of the skull profile. A time consuming method but worth the extra effort. Gem setting can be somewhat limited to rings of minimum finger size, so please contact us to discuss this in further detail.

Well that’s it from us. Trust the New Year is shaping up well for you all. It’s very much heads down, tails up around here.

‘til next time
Mark & Steve
